A central pillar of the SafeOnline project is its innovative digital learning environment—and this is where Infinitivity Design Labs (IDL) has played a leading role. As the partner responsible for the design, development, and integration of core digital outputs, IDL has transformed the project’s educational vision into a practical, engaging, and user-friendly online experience.
IDL led the development of the SafeOnline e-learning platform, built on the Moodle technical stack and shaped by continuous feedback from project partners. The platform acts as a central hub where students, teachers, and school communities can access all SafeOnline resources, including lesson plans, guides, and interactive learning tools. Its structure and layout were carefully designed to ensure accessibility, ease of navigation, and adaptability across different educational contexts.
One of IDL’s most significant contributions is the Interactive Learning Simulator, developed for students aged 10–14. Through realistic, scenario-based activities, the simulator allows learners to explore cyberbullying situations in a safe environment, practice decision-making, and reflect on consequences. These scenarios help students move beyond theory and actively develop digital resilience, empathy, and responsible online behaviour.
