A key outcome of the SafeOnline project is its comprehensive e-learning platform, designed to bring together all educational resources, tools, and learning activities in one accessible digital space. Infinitivity Design Labs (IDL) led the development of this platform, translating the project’s pedagogical vision into a robust, user-centred online environment.
The SafeOnline platform was developed using the Moodle technical stack, selected for its flexibility, scalability, and suitability for school-based learning. IDL was responsible for the overall architecture, layout, configuration, and functionality of the platform, ensuring that it meets the diverse needs of students, educators, and project partners. Throughout development, IDL worked closely with the consortium to incorporate feedback and adapt the platform to real classroom and training requirements.
The platform serves as the central access point for all SafeOnline outputs, including lesson plans, open educational resources, digital guides, and interactive learning tools. Particular attention was paid to usability and accessibility, allowing users with different levels of digital competence to navigate content easily. Multilingual support and localisation further ensure that the platform can be used effectively across partner countries.
