IDL is contributing to the GREEN-LIFT project by creating digital frameworks and interactive tools that make training on green and circular practices more engaging and accessible.
The GREEN-LIFT project tackles one of the most pressing challenges of the European Textile, Clothing, Footwear and Leather (TCFL) sector: the need to reskill and upskill its workforce in line with the green and digital transitions. With SMEs struggling to find qualified employees and many workers in vulnerable or declining positions, the project focuses on women, NEETs, and in-transition workers, providing them with tailored training opportunities to secure their role in a rapidly evolving industry.
Through customised training programmes, practical hands-on labs, and resource hubs, GREEN-LIFT empowers both workers and SME owners to adopt sustainable and circular practices. It goes beyond technical training by also offering holistic support services, such as counselling and mentoring, that foster social inclusion, motivation, and long-term well-being. Within this framework, IDL plays a key role in ensuring that the project’s training solutions are not only effective but also user-friendly, scalable, and inclusive. By applying its expertise in human-centered design and digital innovation, IDL translates complex content into interactive experiences that encourage active learning and engagement. This contribution strengthens the capacity of the TCFL ecosystem to adapt, innovate, and grow sustainably, while building a more inclusive and resilient European workforce.
