Tech4Impact

Project Summary

The primary aim of TECH4IMPACT is to foster the digital transformation of the Social Economy ecosystem by developing intelligent tools for impact monitoring and upskilling the workforce. While traditional businesses rapidly adopt AI and Big Data to optimise performance, social ventures often lack the knowledge and tools to measure their social value and navigate the digital transition. Tech4Impact seeks to address these gaps through the following efforts.

Primary Objectives

  • Design and deploy a learner-centred digital platform that addresses the needs of both Higher Education Institutions (HEI) as well as Vocational Education and Training (VET) centres seeking to support and develop the creation of social ventures.
  • Create an Interactive Impact Dashboard that will use computational intelligence and real-time data to help social entrepreneurial organisations visualise their performance and operational efficiency.
  • Shape future policy around the scalability and sustainability of the Social Economy by providing EU policymakers high-level, evidence-backed advice on how they can create a supportive regulatory environment for social ventures.
  • For this project, IDL is tasked with building and deploying the project’s learning management system (LMS) and leads the consortium’s efforts in creating two distinct social venture curricula as well as the associated learning content.
